Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar
A first for the Lange 1 series, this new Lange 1 is solely a perpetual calendar. Clean and simple—in true Glashütte fashion—the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar sees in the addition of a moonphase—within the small seconds sub-dial—a day indicator at 3, a tiny leap year indicator at 6 and a rotating rehaut that allows the user to keep an eye on the month. This all works to create a clean calendar layout that fits the Lange 1 aesthetic perfectly—oh, and did I mention, you have the option to purchase the watch with a rather fetching salmon dial?
Little Lange 1 Moonphase
This smaller 36.8mm Lange 1 is straight from the cosmos. The dial is a dark blue “gold flux”—similar to aventurine dials seen on watches like the Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Moonphase—and features, yes, you guessed it, a moonphase. The dial layout hasn’t changed from other Lange 1’s, but what has changed is the use of stars for makers on the hour dial. If for some reason, you don’t think this watch offered enough twinkle, you can opt to add a sparkling diamond-set bezel too.
Triple Split
Back in 2018, A. Lange & Söhne unveiled the Triple Split, which was available in white gold with a grey monochrome dial. For Watches and Wonders 2021, A. Lange & Söhne has updated the Triple Split's colour pallet by giving it a pink-gold case and a gorgeous deep blue dial with silver sub-dials. Other than that, the Triple Split remains the same exemplary piece of watchmaking—because, well you can’t improve on perfection, can you?
